Rotary Ukraine project team meets Ukrainian Ambassador
The New Dawn – Rotary- Ukraine project team members met with Vasyl Myroshnychenko the Ukrainian Ambassador to Australia last Thursday 6 March at a Naval, Military & Air Force Club luncheon in Adelaide.
An opportunity to discuss ongoing humanitarian aid projects in Ukraine and to explain the projects already completed by the Rotary – New Dawn partnership in the southern towns & villages of Ukraine.

PDG Bob Cooper attended the Rural Business Support Relief Fund Presentation where Rotary Australia were recognised for our Rotary $500 gifts cards given out by Rural Business Support Relief councillors to needy Faming families.
 
Rotary were presented with a Certificate of appreciation and mentioned in their Impact report 2024 for 75 Drought Support gift cards to the value of $37,500.
 
RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service) was instrumental in working with communities across Australia either directly or with partner organisations in providing Drought Relief Gift Cards and this latest round were centred on the Eyre Peninsula region.

Rotary Says - Stop Coercive Control

On September 14th over 1000 members of Rotary, Not-for-Profit organisations; Government Agencies; Charities; Businesses ... all united behind their own personalised banners to walk for respect and say No to Domestic Violence.
 The peacful walk started at Victoria Square, then down King William Street and ending at the Elder Park Rotunda.
Thank you to all involved in making this event happen, and of course thank you to everyone who helped to bring awareness of Domestic Violence by walking in solidarity today.
