We’re joining forces, and for the first time ever, our two Districts – 9500 and 9520 will be having a combined conference. Come and join us in the wonderful Barossa Valley, 23 to 25 March 2018 for a conference with a difference, “Making a difference”.
The program will be sharp and participatory and we’ll be doing it differently. Don’t expect the usual. There will be speakers with a difference, it’s not all Rotary, however it will centre around the themes and focuses of Rotary.   Expect an exciting hands-on project or two whilst you’re there.

“Joining Rotary” – an obvious theme given the two Rotary Districts in the one place at the same time, but integral to this theme is that you take the incentivised opportunity to bring someone along and expose them to the broader work of Rotary that your Club participates.

We’re inviting you to bring along a work colleague, a neighbour, friend, son, daughter or anyone that you believe has the attributes of a Rotarian.   Here’s a chance to show them, through our speakers, events and the Showcase what Rotary is all about.   We acknowledge that your guest/s may sacrifice some time and accommodation costs, so for these Special guests we’ll offer a significantly reduced registration.   So, showcase to them the great work of Rotary through the conference.

It would be our pleasure to welcome as many clubs as possible to this exciting event with a difference.   We encourage Clubs to nominate a conference champion and have them arrange group attendance – a great team builder.   Remember: The more the merrier.

Our advice – Book your accommodation now. The Barossa is a tourist destination and last minute accommodation booking will most likely disappoint. Remember that it’s “Mad March” which attracts many interstate and overseas visitors to our fine state.   We’d hate to see you miss out on this great and historic event just because you couldn’t get a bed.

We can truly say that we expect the Conference to be bigger than before and at least as good as any you’ve attended before.

See you there
