Here is a great opportunity to Make a Difference and support the Eradication of POLIO, by having a night out to see "BREATH"  - The inspiring true love story of Robin and Diana Cavendish, an adventurous couple who refuse to give up in the face of a devastating disease. Their heartwarming celebration of human possibility marks the directorial debut of Andy Serkis.
We’d love you to join us for this film night if you can?  Do let me know soon and I’ll buy the tickets for us.

Our Rotary Club’s 'Breathe' film night on Friday 12th January raises funds to eliminate polio globally.  The attached flyer explains the film starring Andrew Garfield (Spiderman) and Claire Foy (Betty Windsor in The Crown).  It’s a love story involving polio - mercifully avoided by post baby boomer Australians but a terrible blight still afflicting some in Nigeria, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Via the UN, Rotary works with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to eliminate polio but while any child remains infected with poliovirus, all the world's children are at risk of contracting it.
Our club has booked an entire Palace Cinema theatre of 75 seats to raise funds for this cause and plenty of seats are still available.
Please join us for a good night to support it - dinner together afterwards would be good!

Tickets are $20 plus 90¢ booking fee - either let me know and I’ll book us in then you can pay me later, or book yourselves via the ‘Eventbrite’ website (but let me know too)

We’d love to see you at the city ‘Palace' on the 12th - and maybe afterwards for a meal?

Cheers,
John Wotherspoon
