Club Service
Helping a club work well and provide a welcoming, engaging member experience.
Rotary International · Individual service
Recognising members who put Rotary’s five Avenues of Service into practice.
The Avenues of Service Award recognises the practical contribution of Rotary and Rotaract members. District recognition acknowledges service in an individual avenue. RI recognition honours meaningful service across all five.
The pathways have different nominators and nomination periods.
Begin with the member’s actual contribution and evidence of its impact. Speak with your club president about district recognition, or with our District Governor about a potential RI nomination.
| Pathway | Service recognised | Nomination |
|---|---|---|
| District recognition | Service in one or more of Rotary’s five avenues. | Current club president submits through the official district recognition form. Nominations are accepted throughout the year. |
| RI recognition | Meaningful service across all five avenues. | District Governor submits one nominee during 1–30 November. |
